Regional Television Award: Gold Coast Prime Television reporter David Salmon for a warm and inspiring story of a man who used retirement to help others.

Regional Print Award: Julie Huffer, from The Sydney Weekly, for her controversial story of poet, playwright and novelist Dorothy Hewitt.

Metropolitan Print Award: Jane Wheatley, of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Weekend, who profiled a 73-year-old, wild-haired woman who never let convention stand in her way.

Metropolitan Television Award: ABC Adelaide journalist Michael Sexton for the inspirational story of Guinness Book of Records holder Ernest Wright Easton.

Regional Radio Award: 2NC Newcastle's Philip Ashley-Brown for a report which shattered age stereotypes.

Regional Photographic Award: Renae Payne, of the Leader Newspaper, Northcote, for her photograph of three adventurous women bathing in a creek.

Metropolitan Photography Award: The West Australian photographer Sharon Smith for her photograph of two old timers who still lasso with the best of them.

Electronic Advertising Award: Tony Greenwood and Sarah Barclay from Clemenger, with the 'Milk Authorities' advertisement, that left its audience laughing.

Print Advertising Award: Vikki Burkinshaw for The Body Shop's enthusiastic promotion of ageing in its booklet, Full Voice.
